Libraries are locations, in your computer, where you have stored your songs.
You must indicate to iMusic Valet where your music is stored, to allow iMusic Valet playng your songs in the order you prefer.
From the Library page you can manage all your music libraries.
• My Music Folder
If you have a folder in your hard disk, or in an external device, where you have stored your songs, you can point to that folder to load the songs references and make these songs available for playing to iMusic Valet.
• iTunes Library
If you use Apple's iTunes, then you can access the iTunes music library on your computer with iMusic Valet. If you have moved the iTune music library from its default location, you can specify the new location in the Settings page.
• Playlists
Playlist are collections of songs in a custom order. You might want to create a playlist to suit a specific mood or occasion, or to select certain songs by genre, author, album, etc. You can create as many playlists as you want.
• Last Search
This is a special kind of library: it stores references to all songs found by your last search request (see action buttons), useful to play these songs or save them in a playlist.
Managing Libraries
Each library displays a list of the songs stored in it, with title and author, if the MP3 tags are present, or simply the file name.
On the Folder library, a special button below the title "Folder" will allow you to locate and load your Music Folder.
Use the mouse wheel to scroll the songs list (or click on the right scrollbar).

Action buttons
On the lower side of the window, you will find 4 buttons. Not all of these buttons ara available for each library, depending from the library type.
• Reload button
Useful to reload current library. You need to load your libraries only one time, because the references to the songs are stored in the preferences of iMusic Valet. You will need to reload your library only if the library itself has changed from the last time you have loaded it (i.e. you added songs, changed locations, etc.).
• Play button
Play selected (hilited) song of current list. Other songs in the list will be played by iMusic Valet when current song will end, basing on the option you have choose in the Playing Mode menu.
• Add To popup menu
Add selected (hilited) songs of current list to a playlist of your choice. You should first create a playlist in the Playlist Page, then in a library page select the songs to add it and push this menu to pick the playlist you've created. All selected songs references then will be added to your playlist.
• Search button
You can use the search button to quickly locate items in your library. You can specify the name of a song to find that particular song, or the name of a singer or of an album to retrieve all related songs. Results will be displayed in the special Last Search page, from where you will be able to play the songs or to save them in a playlist.
• Grow button
Click on this button to show an enlarged view of the songs list, to better access it.
Managing Playlists
You can create lists of songs, called “playlists. To manage your playlists, click the right button (or control+left button) of your mouse on a playlist, then select an item from the contextual menu.

To create a playlist:
• Do one of the following:
• To create an empty playlist, right-click the playlist name on the Playlists page, then select Add New Playlist from the contextual menu.
• To create a playlist containing selected songs from a library page, Command-click to select the songs and click the Add To button choosing New Playlist item.
• Type a name for the playlist.
To duplicate, remove, rename a playlist:
Right-click the playlist name on the Playlists page, then select the appropriate item from the contextual menu.
To show the playlist content and add/remove songs:
Click the playlist name on the Playlists page. A new page will open, displaying a list of playlist's songs.
You can individually add or remove songs from the playlist, by right-clicking the songs list and choosing the appropriate item from the contextual menu, or by dragging one (or more) selected music file from a open folder of your desktop directly to the iMusic Valet window.
